Rifugio Roma - Kasseler Hütte and Maler Lake

DESCRIPTION
Nice hike in the heart of the Vedrette di Ries-Aurina Natural Park.
The itinerary that we offer is one of the most popular for those who go to Campo Tures and Valle Aurina. The excursion is of medium level, it can be carried out safely just having a minimum training. From the Roma refuge you can admire the Hochgall glaciers.

ITINERARY
From the parking lot of Riva di Tures (1536 m) follow path 1. During the climb you pass next to some waterfalls. Once at the Rifugio Roma - Kasseler Hütte (2276 m), continue on path 1A which climbs towards Lake Maler (2501 m). Return to the refuge by the same road and descend for a stretch along the same path as the climb. At the first crossroads, take path 8. Going down you arrive in Val del Rio near the Hotel Jausenstation Säge and now you return to the parking lot following the road.
