Sanctuary of the Madonna della Corona

DESCRIPTION
Ring excursion to the beautiful Sanctuary of the Madonna della Corona.
The climb to the Madonna della Corona Sanctuary is a classic of religious pilgrimage. You go up quickly, because the steep path is stepped. During breaks for rest and meditation, you can admire the view over the Adige Valley. The Sanctuary is the ideal destination not only for pilgrims, but also for those who want a little peace and inner serenity. The architectural complex is also very beautiful: set in the rocks of Monte Baldo, it seems suspended in nothingness.
The Path of Hope is not particularly difficult, instead the Path of the Bear is classified as a path for expert hikers, because there are some sections with a metal cord.

ITINERARY
From the car park in via Santuario (172 m), head towards the center of the town, until you reach the indication Sentiero del Pellegrino or Sentiero della Speranza - n. 73. Here begins the tour. Step after step you climb quickly until you reach the Sanctuary (774 m). Go back along the same path and after about 800 meters take the Sentiero dell’Orsa to the left - n. 75.
