DETAILED DESCRIPTION
Monte Cornòn or Cima Sud dei Cornacci is located in Val di Fiemme. The Monti Cornacci are a mountain group that are part of the southern offshoots of the Latemar, together with Monte Agnello.
The excursion is a beautiful walk through pastures, woods and huts, always accompanied by a beautiful panorama. When you arrive at Cima Cornon you will find a large cross, a bench to rest on and a panoramic photo platform which will inform you about the names of the surrounding peaks.
Along the itinerary you can admire the works of the Respirart art park.

ITINERARY
From the parking lot of the Tresca chairlift (1864 m) go up a stretch of road, about 200 m, and then turn right, towards Chalet Caserina, trail sign 514. Once you reach Chalet Caserina (2016 m), continue on the same path and you arrive at Baito La Bassa (2171 m). Now follow the 525 and arrive at Doss dei Branchi (2274 m) at Armentagiola (2152 m) and finally at Cima Cornon (2189 m). You return to Armentagiola (2152 m), descend to Baito Armentagiola (2130 m), and following trail sign 523 you return to Baito La Bassa (2171 m). Return to the starting point via the Rifugio Monte Agnello (2174 m), path 509 and 514.

The two huts, La Bassa and Armentagiola, are always open. You can stop and eat your sandwiches comfortably.
